Rachel is a food columnist for the Guardian and a food book writer. She started of blogging after moving to Rome in 2006 and after gaining traction she was invited by The Guardian to start writing a food column for the English newspaper. She has done so every week since 2008 and in that time told countless stories and taken her readers on countless journeys through her writing and her food. Her cookbook, 'An A-Z of Pasta' is described by her as "the book she never thought she'd get the chance to write", and is an odyssey through the world of pasta. An investigation of the power of food and the variety of one simple carbohydrate, it has grained huge acclaim.

In this chat, we talked about her journey, the power of food and food writing, the importance of eating in different cultures, pasta, and so so much more. Be sure to give it a listen above or wherever you get your podcasts and if you want to watch this or any of my past chats, some are available as video podcasts on Spotify.
